WHY EVERMAMA
EverMama was born from
motherhood itself.
For the parts that are beautiful, the parts that are hard, and the parts you never quite knew you would have to figure out.
My second journey into motherhood wasn't the experience I'd imagined.
Labour was harder than I expected. And afterwards, while recovering and caring for a new baby, I felt something many mothers quietly understand: motherhood can feel incredibly full and incredibly lonely at the same time.
There is so much information around us. So much advice. So many things we're supposed to remember, prepare, buy, track and somehow get right.
But information isn't the same as support.
Sometimes you don't need another article telling you everything you could be doing. You need someone to make things simpler. Something practical to reach for when you're tired. A little reassurance that you haven't forgotten everything.
That's where EverMama began.
I wanted to create the kind of support I wished felt closer during those moments — thoughtful resources for pregnancy, birth, postpartum and the everyday reality of motherhood.
EverMama isn't just one planner or one tool. It's growing into a collection of practical guides, planning tools, thoughtful products and honest resources designed around the moments mothers actually live through.
EverMama Companion is one part of that — turning things like birth preferences and hospital-bag preparation into a plan that feels personal rather than overwhelming. Our Journal is another — a place for the questions and experiences that don't always fit neatly onto a checklist. The planners, guides, gifts and things we create all start with the same question:
Would this genuinely make something easier for a mum?
For the mums doing it without a village
There's a phrase you hear often: “It takes a village.”
But not everyone has one nearby.
Family may live far away. Friends have their own lives. Partners may be working. And sometimes you can be surrounded by people and still feel as though you're figuring out motherhood largely on your own.
EverMama can't replace that village — and I don't want to pretend a website ever could.
But perhaps it can be one small part of the support around you.
Something that helps you prepare. Something that makes one decision simpler. Something you find at 2am when you need a straightforward answer rather than another hundred tabs.
Human first. Helpful always.
I'm a mum too. Some of the questions behind EverMama have been my questions as well. But lived experience isn't medical expertise. When EverMama covers pregnancy, birth or postpartum health, we use trusted sources such as NHS guidance and encourage you to speak with your midwife or healthcare team about your individual circumstances.
EverMama will keep growing alongside motherhood — not to tell mothers how to do it, but to make some of it a little easier to navigate.
Because motherhood is already a lot. Finding the support you need shouldn't be.
